1. Presidential Debate Watching Party - October 13, 2004

On Wednesday, October 13 the NY Young Republican Club and friends will gather to watch the final debate between President George W. Bush and Senator John Kerry. According to most analysts, the series is tied at one each. This final debate will be crucial for President Bush to close the deal with many swing voters who were disappointed with his performance in the first debate.

Overlook Lounge (Bar 44)
225 East 44th Street (between 2nd & 3rd Avenues)

There will be TV monitors to view the debate and drink specials to celebrate Bush's victory ($3 Buds for the guys and $5 Cosmos and Apple Martinis for the girls).

Party starts at 8pm, debate begins at 9pm.

2. NYYRC General Meeting - October 14, 2004

This meeting, the last before the election, will feature state and federal candidates running for office to talk about their campaigns and what they are doing to help turn out the vote for George W. Bush. We will also have a special presentation on the municipal elections of 2005.

Time: 7:30pm - 9:30pm
Place: Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Airmens Club
283 Lexington Ave (bet 36th & 37th St), 2nd Floor
Admission: Members - FREE, Non Members - $5, F/T Students - $2.

Please join us for drinks after every meeting in the backroom at Saga, on Lex and 39th.
